Visual Media Creator & Manager: Evan Temchin (Class of 2006)
Visual Media Creator & Manager, Evan Temchin, graduated
from Southwestern Academy in June of 2006. During his days at Southwestern
Academy, Evan was an active student with good grades, part of the baseball
team, and held a passion for photography.
After graduation, he continued to
explore his passion for the arts, becoming a freelance photographer before
taking on marketing jobs from several different companies.
Evan attended Knox College in Galesburg, IL, where he
obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Communications. He then also attended
Brooks Institute in Santa Barbara, CA, where he graduated as Magna Cum Laude.
Throughout his academic career, Evan won multiple awards for his photography.
Evan also spent some time teaching journalism and tutoring students in
photography at the Brooks Institute.
He has continued to expand in the world of social media using
both his photography and his journalism to create new content.
