National Portfolio Day

Last Sunday, January 16^th, Southwestern Academy art students, lead by Mr. Kohn, went to National Portfolio Day at Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles. 

This annual event gives students the opportunity to meet representatives from art schools, such as: Rhode Island School of Design, Cleveland Institute of Art, California Institute of the Arts, School of the Museum of Fine Arts and, of course, Otis College of Art and Design. The students have the opportunity to show their portfolios and get feedback on their work.

The students that went this year are:

-Juan Pesquera (Senior) ­– Film

-Chelsea Han (Junior) – Graphic Design

-Tara Heidari (Junior) – Fashion

-Min Sung Kim (Sophomore) – Architecture

-Zach Egan-Popecka (Sophomore) – Game Design

-Nancy Lopez (Sophomore) – Creative Writing

-Tianna Gonzalez (Freshman) – Illustration
