Earlier this month the San Marino Campus took a school-wide field trip to the Aquarium of the Pacific! These pictures are from the boat ride we took out to sea in hopes of seeing some whales!
At first, it didn't seem as though we would get to see any whales, although we did see many dolphins and a few seals.
As the boat ride was coming to an end, the boat captain received notice that there was a whale ahead!
We were lucky to have been able to see such a spectacular sea creature! The whale was huge! Unfortunately, we weren't able to spend too much time with the whale as we needed to head back to shore!
After the boat ride, we had a sunny lunch on the field in front of the aquarium. the students ended the day by touring the aquarium! All in all, a great day for the Southwestern family!
